Are you looking to make a mark?

“Reality is irrelevant, perception is everything.” – Terry Goodkind

English writer and philosopher, Aldous Huxley, once said there are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors of perception.

Many people perceive the insurance industry as boring…. well they are wrong, and this is where The Insurance Apprentice comes in!

Showcasing our industry

The Insurance Apprentice is all about skills development as eight young individuals’ complete tasks, and at the same time showcase the exciting and fun side of the industry, while being filmed. The aim is to excite more young people about what our industry has to offer, what the benefits are and how many growth opportunities there are.

As many of the previous contestants will agree, The Insurance Apprentice gives you the opportunity to challenge yourself, to grow on a personal and professional level and showcase what you are all about. To top it all off the competition offers excellent prizes.

Why should you enter?

Why should young people enter the competition? Kabelo Paile, Winner of The Insurance Apprentice 2017 said, “I think every young person in the industry should enter the competition because it will elevate your career, knowledge and exposure into the industry, and this is what every young person needs in order to actively take control of their career.”

“I would definitely recommend having a shot at the competition. While the prizes are great, the experience and the learning are even more memorable,” added Roxanne Griffiths, Winner of The Insurance Apprentice 2015.

Nox Dlamini, Winner of The Insurance Apprentice 2018 said, “I would advise my fellow Millennials to enter The Insurance Apprentice because there is no other platform for young professionals to shine within the industry. If you are in insurance today, this is a no-brainer: enter, enter, enter!”

“The exposure is priceless and if you are looking to make a mark, then this may be your platform. It will further your career, give you untold amounts of exposure and allow senior people in the industry to take note and see you as an asset to the industry,” emphasised Colin Lunsky, Winner of The Insurance Apprentice 2019.

Andre Brooks, Winner of The Insurance Apprentice 2016 mentioned that, “The exposure provided by The Insurance Apprentice certainly enhanced my credibility as an insurance professional, not only internally, but with the industry at large.”
