  1. Why did you choose to enter The Insurance Apprentice? I believe that I have fresh ideas and characteristics to inspire the next generation. I want to ensure that I reach an audience with the correct platform as this brings all industries together.
  2. In your mind, what qualities should an ambassador of The Insurance Apprentice have? Patience, an ability to always learn, zeal, drive and transparency.
  3. Did you choose a career in insurance or did you fall into the industry like so many others? I can almost say that insurance found me, and I responded and never looked back – how? I had completed matric, in need of work, I started my processes of handing in my CV to various workplaces like restaurants, completely unrelated. In my tired sweaty state, I was approached by a concerned stranger who started a conversation and learned of why I was in the state she found me. She offered me a job at ABSA Insurance Company as a filing clerk and the rest is history.
  4. How important is winning for you? It is highly important. It is highly important. Winning The Insurance Apprentice would affect my family and career in a positive way, eternally. It gives me a lead in bettering the life of my family and the people around me. I get to live my dream and it causes fresh excitement and a new love for the industry I am in.
